Custom power distribution / schedule compression
Danbar Power Solutions
The equipment decision that turns a 40–50 week custom MTS timeline into a four-week delivered plan.
The problem
40–50 week lead times are killing schedules.
The cost of waiting
Ten months is not a rounding error.
- Temporary powerRental gensets and fuel burning every month.
- Schedule damagesGear on the critical path puts the GC’s clock on you.
- Financing carryInterest accrues on a building that cannot energize.
- Deferred revenueTen months of an asset sitting dark, earning nothing.
The trap
Order it at signing, or miss your deadline.
- The betAt 40–50 weeks the gear must be ordered the day the contract is signed — often before.
- Wait, and it's goneOrder at mobilization or rough-in and the date is already lost.
- $150,000 + $10,000/dayWhat a late store can carry in penalties after the fact.
- Four weeks closes itOrder when the job is real, not when the ink is drying. Danbar removes that risk across the continental US.

Installed cost
The generator connection is already in the box.
- No separate connection boxThe cam-lock inlets are on the switch. Nothing else to buy, mount, or find wall space for.
- No conduit runNo feeder between a docking box and the gear. No racking, no supports, no wire pull.
- No second set of terminationsThe conductors land once, on factory bus. Nobody terminates the same feeder twice.
- Nothing to mis-wirePhase rotation and bonding are set on the drawing, not in the field. No troubleshooting a bad connection at startup.
Every one of those is labor and material the electrician does not price, install, or come back to fix.

Already in the field
Two years in major retail.
- 2 yearsThis exact gear, in major retail locations across the southern US.
- 12 yearsDoing the electrical on major retail rollouts.
- Two best sellers600A / 480V and 1200A / 208V — proven in the application, not adapted to it.
- No first-article riskBuy from someone who already knows the program, the standard, and the punch list.
Why we can and they cannot
It is the company, not the gear.
| Decision point | Major OEM | Danbar Power Solutions |
|---|---|---|
| Business model | Volume catalog production | Custom fabrication shop, UL listed |
| Your order is | One of thousands against a forecast | Built for your job |
| Queue position | Behind a national backlog | Direct to the shop floor |
| Chain to site | Factory → rep → distributor → you | Shop → us → you |
| Custom MTS lead time | 40–50 weeks market range | 4 weeks, delivered |
Both routes are UL listed. The gap is queue and structure, not build quality — and the OEM is still the right call on spec-locked, closed-transition, and paralleling work.
Second equipment line

- NEMA 1 indoor / NEMA 3R outdoor / NEMA 4X stainless
- Thermal-magnetic or electronic; LSIG available
- 4-week continental-US target
The decision
You can have it in four weeks. Or you can explain forty.
- The gear sets the dateNothing else on this job takes ten months. It is the longest lead item you have, and it is the only one you can fix today.
- The risk moves to usThe date goes on the purchase order. If we miss it, that is our problem — not a change order, not a claim, not your explanation to give.
- Nothing to prove firstThe same two configurations are already in major retail across the southern US. No first article, no pilot, no learning curve on your store.
- The window closes at signingAt forty weeks the order had to be placed the day the ink dried. At four, you can place it today and still be early.
Send us the amps, the volts, and the date. You get a firm number and a firm delivery, in writing, this week.
